I am also officially a yarn snob.

Apparently, I have some expensive taste in yarn. I've added to my stash recently and it's cost me a bit I must say. But I save for it...I just can't imagine shopping for yarn at wal Mart and unless it's a gift, I don't own any acrylic. Alpaca, merino, silk blends, even mink are in my stash now. I also have those fibers in my fiber stash to spin myself. I feel bad because I'm sure some people in my boat (that of financial instability) probably don't waste their money on 30 dollar skeins of yarn. But that is how I splurge. That's how I treat myself and spoil myself. I could use a good pedicure, but I can put a good skein of yarn to better use!

That's a completely new one for me. And then...another completely new to me thing - creating my own design. I couldn't finish the other shawl because I need a longer needle and can't get one until this week. I was searching for a half circle design. I tri...
